OAKLAND, CA (Marquis Recordings) — October 6, 2009 — Today Marquis Recordings R&B singer and songwriter, Donnell Dantzler announces the release of two new tracks, “Life Is Good” and “What’s It Gonna Be”, from his upcoming EP CD, “Life Is Good”. After an extended break from studio recording, Donnell Dantzler brings forth a set of songs that breathe life to new beginnings in love and life itself. “It feels so good to be back to making music and having the opportunity to perform ‘live’ consistently. I tend to forget music’s therapeutic effect on me and others, until I complete my songs and share them.” Donnell stated at a recent scholarship benefit show in Vallejo, CA. “Life Is Good” is a follow-up to Dantzler’s 2003 CD release, “Show Me Love” which gained him notoriety for such singles as “Have You Ever…”, “I Wanna Thank You (Momma)” and the title track, “Show Me Love”. Looking to continue his string of songs that enlighten, lift and evoke emotion, “’Life Is Good’ is a song and project with a, feel good vibe, that resonates with anyone who has gone through any of life’s challenges.” “Which is most of us”, the singer added.
